Best Christmas Present EVER!

I have always wondered what it felt like to actually see your own song on a videoke machine!

I thought that for somebody to actually make the effort of copying your song, and writing the subtitles and stuff and finally put it into a videoke machine, it's a lot of work!

This is one of my dreams. It is actually a milestone for me, it means that there are people out there who actually want to sing my version of the song... I am so happy!

Dreams do come true! You just have to put faith in your dreams and never let go... I think this is a lesson learned for me as well, to never quit believing in yourself... And i hope that this post actually inspires someone and make them follow their dreams as well...

When things don't go your way...

Being a musician is so easy, being in the industry can literally drive you insane! I am my own agent and everything so, aside from giving you the freedom to decide your career, it also traps you into a spiral of "industry-ness" where in you have to conform and compromise certain aspects in order to remain afloat. I cannot just be an "artist" and just "express myself", Aaaah! I wish that, that day will come. I (with the help of my partner Bolichie) have to make contracts, hire out sound system equipment, fix our schedules and talk with venues and producers, plan out me and my band's career, stuff like that. And sometimes we get lost in all of it. In the end, you get one hell of a tired performer. Gone were the days where an artist is just an artist. Now you have to do everything, if you want to really be in this. Dedication is an understatement. I just wish that things will work out in the end.... *sigh* i really really wish it soooo bad....

Indian Theme Show

So we just finished the Indian Theme Show for the Alabang Ladies International Association. And we had so much fun. We didn't start playing until 10pm and the wait was soooo long, because we got there around 4pm? or maybe it was five. Anyhow, Dina Hourihan our gracious and accommodating host was so nice to us that we didn't really mind the wait. :D She also lent me the headpiece that was really pretty....

Oh and check out my makeup look... I am really loving it. Of course it took me longer to do than my regular makeup but it was fun. :D
